Evenfield by Jonomor

Education built for the world they are inheriting.

A full-curriculum homeschool platform powered by artificial intelligence. Sixteen subjects. Three learners. One system built by a father who refused to accept what the traditional school system was and was not teaching his children.

Evenfield is a private platform. Access is restricted to authorized instructors and learners.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

A complete education for a world that no school is preparing them for.

The American school system teaches children to pass tests. It does not teach them how money works. It does not teach them how to build a business. It does not teach them what artificial intelligence is or how to use it. It does not give children who struggle to speak or express themselves the tools to find their voice. And it does not teach them to think creatively or solve problems independently. By the time most children realize these gaps exist, they are already adults trying to catch up.

Evenfield is the answer to that problem. It is a full-curriculum homeschool operating system covering sixteen subjects across a 180-day academic year — both the foundational academic subjects every child needs and the future-focused skills the school system consistently ignores. It is built for two instructors and three students, with dedicated views for each and a shared session engine that connects them in real time.

The three learners range from ages six to nine, performing above grade level. Every lesson, every AI tutor interaction, and every assessment is differentiated by age. The platform understands this difference and enforces it at every layer — the curriculum, the AI prompt, the UI, and the assessment.

Ali Morgan built Evenfield because he is a systems architect, a father, and someone who spent years building production software for other problems. When he looked at the school system and what it was not preparing his children for, he made a decision. He would build something better. Evenfield is part of the Jonomor ecosystem — a systems architecture studio that has shipped production software across nine domains. The subjects the school system ignores — financial literacy, entrepreneurship, AI literacy, coding, and culturally grounded history — are core subjects inside Evenfield.

THE CURRICULUM

Sixteen subjects. Two instructors. Three learners.

Every subject teaches something the traditional school system either ignores, underweights, or teaches too late. Evenfield delivers them all — in sequence, in session, and through an AI tutor that adapts to each student individually.

FINANCIAL LITERACY

Money is not taught in schools. Evenfield teaches it from age six. Budgeting, compound interest, investing basics, and how businesses generate revenue — built into every school year.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Every child in this household will know how to build something from nothing. Business models, revenue, expenses, pitching, and value creation — taught at the level each child can use.

AI LITERACY

These children are growing up in the AI era. They will understand what AI is, how it learns, what it cannot do, and how to use it as a tool that makes them more capable — not a crutch that replaces their thinking.

CODING

Writing code is a literacy. The youngest learner studies visual logic and sequencing. The older learners write Python — variables, functions, loops, and working programs they can see run inside the platform.

HISTORY

African American history, Caribbean history, Latin American history, and African, Egyptian, and Greek mythology. Framed through achievement, excellence, and the builders these children descend from.

SPEECH AND EXPRESSION

The module no school offers. Daily warm-ups, structured conversation exercises, and instructor guidance on how to prompt a child toward full expression — not finish their sentences for them.

THE AI TUTOR

Not a chatbot. The lesson itself.

Evenfield's AI tutor is built on the Anthropic Claude API and serves as the primary delivery mechanism for all student-facing learning. Every session generates a dynamic system prompt from the learner's name, age, grade level, the day's subject and learning objective, the full lesson content, and that learner's recent performance history. The tutor explains the concept, asks comprehension questions, evaluates responses, and adapts in real time.

The instructor view runs in parallel. The instructor sees a live activity panel for each student — the question the AI asked, the student's last response, a comprehension signal, and an automatic flag after three consecutive incorrect or off-topic responses. The instructor can pause the AI on any student's screen, take over direct instruction, and resume when ready. The AI does not replace the instructor. It handles the interactive delivery layer so the instructors can focus on observation, encouragement, and intervention.

Outside of scheduled sessions, Explorer Mode lets each student pick a subject, ask a question, or say what they are curious about — and the AI tutors them freely within Evenfield's subject universe. Explorer sessions are logged separately, and over time the system builds an interest profile per learner that surfaces in the instructor dashboard and quarterly report.

Questions about Evenfield

What is Evenfield?

Evenfield is a full-curriculum homeschool education platform that delivers AI-powered personalized tutoring across 16 subjects. It is built for two instructors and three learners, with age-differentiated lesson delivery, structured session management, weekly assessments, and quarterly progress reporting.

What subjects does Evenfield cover?

Evenfield covers 16 subjects: Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, AI Literacy, Coding, Math, Creative Thinking, Reading, Spanish, Spelling, Science, Language Arts, Health, History (African American, Caribbean, Latin American, and African/Egyptian/Greek mythology), Projects, Speech and Expression, and structured weekly assessments.

How does the AI tutor work?

Evenfield's AI tutor is built on the Anthropic Claude API and operates in two modes: Structured (driven by the day's lesson plan during scheduled sessions) and Explorer (self-directed learning outside of sessions). Each session generates a dynamically built system prompt from the learner's age, grade level, subject objective, lesson content, and prior performance history. Responses are age-differentiated — what a 9-year-old sees is not what a 6-year-old sees.

What devices does Evenfield support?

Evenfield is designed tablet-first and works across Amazon Fire HD 10, Android phones, iPad, and Windows and Mac computers. It is delivered as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — no app store required. Students and instructors log in from any browser on any device.

Who built Evenfield?

Evenfield was built by Ali Morgan, founder of the Jonomor systems architecture studio. Ali built Evenfield for his sons because the traditional school system does not teach children financial literacy, entrepreneurship, AI literacy, or coding. Evenfield is part of the Jonomor ecosystem.
